Review The Mummy (1999)

It offers an old Saturday morning serial feel, but all the unneeded one-liners make it dally like an highly low-rent Indiana John Luther Jones film.
However, The Mommy isn’t wholly without meritoriousness. It does offer some fulgurous ocular effects and a sport confrontation between Fraser and an army or mummy soldiers that reminded me of SAM Raimi’s hilarious Army of Darkness–but it wasn’t sufficiency to keep me concerned.
